Sculpting My Recent Work
For some time I have worked with fabric ripped into long pieces, ropes, threads, and paint on canvas. The paint is seemingly pouring out down from the canvas. I cut away some canvas to expose the wall behind, incorporating the wall itself into the art piece.
The Early Years
About the Artist
Gabriella started her education in 1990 at the Ecole des Beauxs Arts de Versailles in Versailles, France. In 1993 she continued getting her bachelor’s and master’s degrees at Konstfack, University College of Arts Crafts and Design in Stockholm, Sweden.
Between 1992–2005, Gabriella was invited to participate in numerous juried art shows:
